AAPL - Previous Day High Retest
Trade Thesis: Apple had strength in the premarket so was on watch going into market open. Throughout the early part of the session, apple was showing relative strength to the indexes. Once it broke above PDH I was looking for a way to get involved.
Context(1day): On the daily price was breakout out of the congestion level and above the 235 level that was acting as resistance.
Context(15min): In the premarket price was trending slightly upwards. There was clear resistance above that was both the PDH but also the 237.50 level which was a strike price where lots of LQ would be sitting. The plan was to go long above PDH
Execution(1min): After the PDG break there was a quick retest with a hammer candle, I entered once the green hammer candle closed. Taking 2:1 trailer up to the 241 level.
What happened(5min): After the push to 241 price reverted back to the PDH level where it continues to chop around.

Ticker: SPY
What I am watching: Similar pattern happening on the SPY/QQQ to what has been happening at these ATH levels. Gap up overnight slow movement in the early session. We are still very bullish, but a PB is coming, just done know when. Watching PDH level for some immediate feedback as to where the market wants to go in the session, but staying bullish to at least 659 level.

After the morning sell off, price bounced of PDL. It continues to remain bullish on the HTF. Lets see what sets up for FOMC tomorow.

What I am watching: QQQ has avery similar chart to SPY, not a lot of levels to go off, but watching the PDH for indication of move.

Similar chart to SPY but the remains more bullish today as we are farther from that PDL level.
Ticker: TSLA
What I am watching: 420 is the alert Musk tweet, retail number. After a red day yesterday lets see if TSLA gets back on track. Dont chase it, feels like there will be other opportunities today.

What I am watching: I do like AMD above the PDH level. it is above the HTF level of 162.17 and has a target at 164.80 which would create a change of character to bullish on the daily.

It sold off and never setup
Ticker: GOOGL
What I am watching: Another absolute beasy. See if it defends the PDH level, if so will be looking for some intraday levels to trade off up into the PMH.

There was the quick PM retest, but it was not clean, so ended up taking the PDH level.

What I am watching: AMZN looking like a top watch, see if it can break above and retest the PDH for a move back up to 238

It played, but more of a 5min setup a little later on in the session. By the time it could have happened it was no longer an A setup and wanted to stay out.
